VISION & PURPOSE
To equip people to resolve conflict and breathe God’s grace into difficult situations, using God’s word, prayer and the power of the Holy Spirit. To build a culture of peace in communities and organisations. To provide training and Christian peacemaking and mediation services to the people of New Zealand.
WHO WE ARE
Peace Promise is a cross-denominational not-for-profit. We have a passion for biblical peacemaking and creating a culture of peace in New Zealand. We have a particular focus on equipping Christians to resolve conflict and handle difficult situations to glorify God, serve others and to be a Christ-like witness in their communities.

This course builds on the knowledge you have gained from Personal Peacemaking, so you can take your journey as a peacemaker from being personal, to being equipped to help coach others who are in a conflict or difficult situation that needs to be resolved, or a relationship that needs to be reconciled, without having direct involvement in the conflict. Helping others to resolve their situation in a way that glorifies God, serves others and helps them become more Christ-like.
The Conflict Coaching course is a workshop where participants will be expected to practice what you have learned, as you go, through the training.You will use these skills (you learned and practised during the workshop) any time you offer advice or your opinion to anyone you are in contact with.

The day’s training will teach what God’s word says on how to respond to conflict in a way that glorifies God, serves others and helps you become more Christ-like.
This training is relevant for all Christians. This is the beginning of your journey to building a culture of peace in your Christian community, school, family, ministries and Church.

Peace Promise will provide bespoke training for your ministry’s or organisation’s needs. The advantages of dedicated training is: there is likely to be a greater impact of building a culture of peace within your ministry or organisation; a high probability of positive impacts on relationships within the organisation and how conflict and difficult situations are dealt with; an ‘employer of choice’ value add for your employees; cost savings in price per attendee when compared to attending national training.
